The
CCG is concentrating on breaking a glass ceiling that seems
to exist for Caribbean professional service companies.
Research done by Scientific Information Services (SIS) Ltd
on the International Financing Institutions (IFI) databases
showed that Caribbean companies obtained an average of 13%
of the projects available for the Caribbean. Few, if any,
companies obtained projects of >$100,000(US) whilst overseas
companies obtained the whole range and definitely dominated
those >$1M (US).
It
has put into place both the professional and financial
capacity to concentrate on projects >$1M
(US). Using an extensive database of consultants (individuals
and companies) based both inside and outside the Caribbean
it will actively market and bid for projects in the following
sectors:

- Sanitation
- Agriculture
- Micro-enterprises
- Communication
- Tourism
- Education
- Reform & Modernisation of State
- Urban Development
