It is envisaged that there will be approximately 20 Consulting Principals. Brief bio-data is presented below for a representative selection of them. All have committed to invest in The CCG Ltd, thus giving it a strong team of highly respected professionals with postgraduate training based both inside and outside the Caribbean. Their skills complement each other ensuring that it can market, obtain contracts and implement successfully.

Jeffrey Dellimore worked for the CDB for 22 years following 11 years as a lecturer at the University of the West Indies. He retired as Acting Director of Projects having assumed responsibility at a time of turbulence and succeeded in giving it a strong structure and increasing its effectiveness. He established the Social Development Division and ensured that the social dimensions of development were addressed in all CDB interventions. He twice received the accolade of " Distinguished Performer" at the CDB. He is the Interim Chairman of the Board of The CCG. He will lead its strategic planning and marketing to the Caribbean and the IFI's

Byron Blake brings 32 years of experience of Economics, Caribbean development and diplomacy to The CCG. After obtaining both a B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics he went to work for the CARICOM Secretariat in 1970 rising from Economist to Assistant Secretary General, Regional Trade and Economic Integration. There is perhaps no one in the Caribbean today better placed to understand the nuances of working with Caribbean Governments and the IFIs.

Hollis Charles has developed service institutions in the Caribbean. Notably he was Director of CARIRI for 20 years developing it from a staff of 20 to 250 with a budget of $4M(US). He followed that by developing two consulting organizations, the Institute for Managing Development (IMD) and Charles Consulting which have supplied services to UNDP, World Bank, IADB, UNIDO, CARICOM, The Commonwealth Secretariat, UN ECLAC to name a few. He has advised on science, technology and industrially development policy nationally and regionally. In 2002 the World Association of Industrial & Technological Organizations (WAITRO) gave him a special award. He has the knowledge and skill required to successfully guide The CCG Ltd and implement its national, regional and International marketing strategy.

Richard Trotman is a financial consultant who specializes in initiating, structuring and managing investment opportunities and financial transactions, locally, regionally and internationally. He works with companies to improve their operating and business models thus assisting them to meet their performance targets and increase profitability. He has worked for Fincor and Republic Bank handling portfolios in excess of $100M(TT). He will be part of the executive team that will market The CCG Ltd’s services and advice it on financial matters.

Lucretia Gabriel is a versatile facilitator with experience in science, education and social development. She has been responsible for developing Scientific Information Services (SIS) Ltd, in particular the Carib WinBid system, which will supply essential project and skills intelligence, bid preparation and administrative support services to The CCG Ltd. The Caribbean Association of Consultants (Trinidad & Tobago Chapter) has honoured her for her contribution to its development. She was its first President. She will be part of The CCG Ltd’s executive team.

Lennox Lewis has 25 years experience as a business and strategic planning/corporate finance consultant. He has worked for private and public sector organizations He also has experience as a member of committees, member and chairman of Boards for example, The T&T Management Development Centre and Radio Vision. His professional qualifications include being a Fulbright Scholar and an MBA. He will be invaluable in developing The CCG’s financial policies.

Verieux Mourillon is a consultant and Director, Human Resource development, Eastern Caribbean Development Bank (ECCB). He is a skilled facilitator of leadership development, team development, change management and performance improvement. This expertise and his knowledge of the internal workings of International financing institutions, particularly the implementation of their policy with respect to the smaller Caribbean states is pivotal to the successful market penetration of The CCG Ltd. He will facilitate the building of strong project teams from diverse consultants based both inside and outside the Caribbean.

Winston Scotland is a strong supply chain executive with general management /P&L experience. He is skilled in improving and integrating business processes. He became a consultant after being the Senior VP, Supply Chain, UFNA & Lipton, USA. This is a $4.5B(US) consumer products business unit. He has experience leading teams in Europe, Asia, Africa, USA and Canada. In a career spanning 1966 to 2000 he rose from chemical engineer to Senior Vice-President directing the smooth merger of two large food businesses into Lipton, while divesting others and achieved savings in excess of $200M(US). He, therefore, brings to The CCG Ltd international private sector experience that will help it to become an Internationally competitive service provider.

Robin Osborne is a consultant and senior lecturer in Civil Engineering in UWI, St. Augustine. He specializes in materials and believes that proper selection of materials before a project is implemented is pivotal to trouble-free construction and low maintenance costs. He conducts and supervises materials research. He has provided services to IFIs and a wide range of private sector organizations throughout the Caribbean. He will be pivotal to the development of The CCG Ltd’s services to the construction sector. Construction contracts constitute the majority of the funding released by the IFIs annually.

Willy Aspinall is a Chartered Scientist with a PhD in Physics and 35 years experience of working in the Caribbean, mainly in the Earth Sciences. His professional interests include the probabilistic assessment of earthquake and volcanic hazards and risks, and the formalised elicitation of expert judgement for descision- making for low probability/high consequence events in circumstances of scientific or engineering uncertainty. He has also been adviser to British Airways in connection with safety performance monitoring, data-mining and risk assessment for flight operations management and, as a consequence of his special interests in expert judgement elicitation and descision-making, was a member of a Royal Society working group on the detection and decontamination of chemical and biological weapons in terrorist attacks. He currently sits on UK Government Scientific Advisory Committees concerned with research into the effects of biological agents on humans, the control of SARS and Avian flu in healthcare workers, bioterror decontamination, and the management of volcanic activity in Montserrat. He is a Visiting Industrial Professor at the University of Bristol in England, and has published more than 40 research papers and contributed to numerous commercial in-confidence reports; he brings an invaluable science-based perspective to The CCG Limited.
